Which Wheels ?? BBS RS or RC090
I currently Own a 85 M635csi.
I no longer own the TRX wheels
However I do own a set of BBS RS 16x7s and a set of Staggered RC090 17x8 / 17x9 style 5s off a e39
I will probably sell one set for parts money.
Which would you Keep the RC or the RS?
Not my actual wheels, just some pics

Re: Which Wheels ?? BBS RS or RC090
For an E24, I'd go with the high offset wheels (BBS RS, et 13?).
Et 20 RC090's are heavier, need hub rings and spacers to get looking similar. I think the subtle nature of the RS being period correct also makes it better.

Re: Which Wheels ?? BBS RS or RC090
I found myself in exactly the same dilemma. RS or RC's. Tore myself to bits over it for months, and ended up buying a set of each.
Which is the right choice? Well put it this way, my RC's have NEVER been on my car.

Don't own either but IMHO the RS is the right wheel for the E24. The RC looks great but its not the right wheel. RS is more period correct. The RC with the deeper dish and larger diameter is probably the wheel for the younger non enthusiast looking for MORE! Just my personal preference.
I did not know the RC required hub rings, another point against.

Another vote for a set of the RS wheels, and soon I'll be on the hunt for a set of my own.

Haha Same here Dean. For some reason I want a set of RS wheels nowAnother vote for a set of the RS wheels, and soon I'll be on the hunt for a set of my own.
Re: Which Wheels ?? BBS RS or RC090
The wheels I have now are ACT by Ronal, and they're nice-looking, and period-correct, but I like the multi-piece BBS more, and would also prefer a less-staggered appearance.

+1 for RS. The wheels helped sell me on the entire car I bought. Particularly if yours is an M635csi, that really keeps it all period correct as so many before me have already said! Particularly if you are keeping the car long term, the RS will have far higher value and wow factor than the RC090's
