Best tire choice for M635 CSi

I'm looking for experience and recommendations for new 16" tires for my 1985 M635CSi. She is currently wearing 245/50 ZR16 BFG's. All advice welcome.

Hey Doc, do you know the width and offset of those wheels
Kinda need to know this info as well besides the 16" diameter
And are you looking for "best" brand of tire
You will already be limited due to the 16" wheel size, manufacturers are all going to these huge wheel/tire packages these days

Thanks for the prompt reply. I believe the wheels to be BMW's offering to replace the metric 390's that came standard on the car. I've got two pictures of them I'll upload.
I've got 3 options at the local tire store -- looking at one other later today. They are:
Cooper: 225/50R 16 ST 92 V CS5 Ultra Touring
Goodyear: Eagle Sport AS 92 V
Michelin: Pilot Sport AS 92Y

I have the cooper's on mine, they are good for the money.
