Style 32 reps?

Post by imo6en »

Hey guys, my new to me 6er came with Style 32s that the previous owner believed to be reps. I don't know much about the BMW wheels so I pulled these off today while doing a brake job and cleaned them off for a look. They read as 17x8.5 ET13. To my knowledge, true 32s didn't come in this offset. The next question is how can that be right? An ET13 seems like a very deep wheel, even for an 8.5in width. Have some pictures:

And here's a gratuitous shot of the car at the dragon (The reason I was working on the brakes..)

Stock 32's are et20 17x8, so you have wider wheels that stick out 8mm more.

ET13 is the correct offset for 8.5 x 17 fitment on an E24. :D
