This adaptation of a "bottle cap" to a split rim is becoming popular now, and I have to say I think they look fantastic. A perfect fusion of originality and a contemporary custom look.

Nice work, fella.

This wheels look amazing! Is there a custom wheel shop that made them or you built them yourself?
I suppose one could use lips and barrels from style 5....
If you get a chance, please share few details on how you tucked front bumper; looks really good without upper rubber lip!

rrrs, this was requested in the past, you're not the only one interested in this very handsome bumper tuck =D>

bmwsonew01, can you please create a new thread outlining your liposuction process [-o<

Agreed, on the wheels as well, even though I'm not a fan of bottlecaps \:D/

Those wheels a beautiful on there. Well done. I have also been contemplating liposuction on my front, and like Bobbo, I am VERY interested in how you accomplished the deed.

The big question is who or what company did the modification for you ??

As per thread about style 32s some time back, I absolutely love these. They look perfect.

I haven't heard any horror stories about modifying wheels in this way, but it is it a common practice to convert single piece alloys into splits in this way? I assume they are two piece?

Your whole car looks perfect - good work.

Thanks Soperman =D>

Greatly appreciated, I can assure you that those of us in the states who are "blessed" with the dreaded diving board front bumpers would love to see how he achieved that look [-o<

You are most welcome, Bobbo.

Incidentally, he has already responded to me on IG, so I trust it won’t be too long before you chaps are in touch.

Be nice if he shared where he had them done although I am sure any competent wheel or even machine shop could do it?? Thoughts guys?

I do all of the measuring, strength calculations, and machining for wheels in house just outside Berkeley CA.
