johnb@macarbon or ParkerRhodes. Those were the two most recent guys with posts of that idea/work. Both listed under wheels and tires in the forum.

I tried to contact Parker but no luck so far. I think I found a local shop that can do it and will visit them during the week. I like my restored style 5s but those original wheels really have my attention. I think I can sell my style 5s for close to what the conversion will cost as they are well restored. I will see.

Looked into it locally and I can get the machine work done very reasonably the problem is the barrels. They are only offered in that size to build a three piece wheel and the cost from BBS is over $500 a wheel so for now I will stay with my restored style 5s

Hi, I believe you can use the Style5 barrels and hardware; did a quck check and it seems TRX could be machined to same outside dimensions as Style5 8x17 centers; also looked like offset would be correct.
I think this is what others have used as well.

It looks close. I am off to the machinist tomorrow and we will see. The modifications that have been done are with split barrels but at over $550 a wheels from BBS I am hoping the style 5 barrels will work
