Re: 17" ALPINA rims in open lug old style design
Hi Guys
I have a set of 16 inch alpina rims with caps that I am converting to open lugs and from what I am reading is the early BMW style Alpina rim center caps that are light alloy from the E12 E23 E24 that are I think 14 or 15 Inch will not fit into the Alpina open lug style rims and I have to custom make something is this right.

It's a crapshoot. I've had exactly 50% success replacing just the internals. One sealed (and is still sealed 2 years out), the other still leaked past the valve immediately, even with a brand new valve.
