Checked the Tech Articles section, but not to be . . .

Post by GRNSHRK »

So, who's gonna step up to the plate and put this together?

I'll check with Brian, see what he thinks about this as a worthy piece for the Tech Section.

I seem to answer these questions about 30 times per year as well :?

Keep 'em runnin' gents :!: :!: :!:

Let's do it!

This is a much needed tech article and doesn't have to address every wheel, offset, and size. If something can be written to address the basics such as:

What does offset mean and what offset does the 6 use?
Which BMW wheels can be put on a 6 without hubcentric rings?
What is a hubcentric ring?
Which wheels need rings?
Why would I need spacers?
What are hubcentric spacers?
etc, etc, etc...

Anybody interested? Maybe we can get a couple of volunteers to collaborate on such an article...???

Here's a start

All,

Brucey has submitted this to me. I think it's a good start. I will use this doc as a basis and come up with something specific to the most often asked question, "Will these wheels fit?"
