Retaining bolt

Post by GripGreg » Tue Mar 08, 2016 9:45 pm

I can't seem to feel the bolt holding the back seat to the kick panel. Can anyone guide me to it?
I just casually felt around for it though. In fact it was while I was driving! #-o So,,,a very casual feel :-$ !

The rear seats are retained by two Phillips head screws which are screwed onto the lower kick panel about 2 to 3 inches in from each side on the underside of the front lip of the seat .They are "hidden " under two flaps in the carpet.

Were you typing this while driving as well? Have you actually looked at the kick panel to seat area?

Maybe this will help and it is a great reference source for many things e24 related as well.
