I went with Boston Acoustics 4x6 and also tweeters.

It depends on how you define "works"? I'm fitting a ScanSpeak 4" full range driver into the little hole. But it doesn't produce any bass to speak of. So either your rear shelf speakers have to provide that output or you need a subwoofer to cover the low freq. I'm installing a Digital signal processor with my install. So when the time comes, I'll be shaping and EQing the system.

It has a low power rating too, so as a stand alone driver, I don't think it works for most. I'm hoping with the subwoofer and DSP that I'll be able to at least get enough fill to create the right sound imaging. But it is a test - one that you might not want to make.
