Mystery switch in center console
I am trying to put the upper section of the center console back together in my 1988 BMW 635 Csi. There is a small white plastic electrical component with a tiny on/off switch coming out its side that I cannot figure out where it goes. The white plastic housing has two mounting holes molded into it and green/brown striped and a blue/brown striped wire coming out of it. Please look at the attached photo.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I'll try this again. Need help. Car has been off the road far too long due to niggling little problems.
Please help me identify this small white switch. Wires to switch (correction): blue/black stripe and green/brown stripe.

Re: Mystery switch in center console
It's for the fan speed control Full Speed-On switch that attaches to the inside of the main switch.
As pictured I think.

Ralph: Yes that's it. Thank you so much!! This has been driving me crazy. Now I can put the console back together and get this car out of my shop and start on my supercharged '74 2002 project.
