Rear seat belt cover

Post by 88m6 » Fri Mar 16, 2018 1:14 am

How the hell does that cover come off without breaking it?
C pillar cover over bolt
Removing tint and cannot get last 5 inches behind sun screen so off course everything has to come out. Wasnt planning on doing detail back there yet, but now it's all out so here I go.
Thx

Pull the plastic cover off and there’s the mounting bolt underneath.

Prise (gently) the cover over the chrome ring and it then slides off the bolt head.
They are ALWAYS rustier than you thought!!!!!!

Wow that's a tight fit. Fractured both but not broken while pulling bottom first thru ring then up over bolt.
Thanks for tip.
