HELP! e 24 Dash re-install

Post by knunger »

I don't remember the sequence of events when I pulled my dash. As usual, when I pulled the dash I figured it would be a week or so until I put it back. It's been six months. I know I pulled all the fascia below the dash (glovebox, consoles, etc) Then I think I pulled the dash then the a/c evap box, then the heater box.

So, I have re-installed the heater and a/c boxes but I can't get the dash even close. What am I doing wrong? This is my first dashboard-ectomy so if I'm doing something stupid please feel free to correct me.

Thanks!

Yes, that was super helpful as I pulled the dash, but not so much on re-install.

Thanks anyhow!

Make sure the locating tags are lined up with the corresponding points under the windscreen; make sure the bolt holes are lined up either side and push!

I'm assuming you've already removed the screen pillar trim.

Good luck
