Seat install question

Post by crapshooter6 »

I'm trying to swap a set of manual buckets from an e36 m3 into my '79 633, naturally the bolt pattern is different....anyone know of an adapter available to make this more of a "bolt right up deal"? I don't want to start trying to jerry-rig the seats to make them fit....I don't think that'll turn out too well....thanks!

Maybe none of these experts have tried swapping E36 seats into an E24. I'm not claiming to be an expert by any stretch if the imagination, but we as a group tend to not reply to questions we don't know the answer to.

MOST E24 seat swaps involve seats from other BMWs of the same era (E21s, E30s, etc.), and even then they sometimes require adaptation. I doubt very much anyone makes a commercially available adaptor to fit an E36 seat to an E24.
