Owner Manual - Cover

Post by gte619n »

Guys,

I ordered an Owners Manual for the M635CSi and it's fun to have around. I was wondering if these things came inside a booklet cover, binder, etc? It seems a little odd to have it thrown in the glove box without something more substantial around it.

Thanks!

That's exactly what I mean. Can't seem to find it on RealOEM.

They were standard issue with many 80’s BMWs. I’m sure the dealer will have them - or look on eBay!

Were they all white like this one? I had a couple of E28s many years back, both had this same one. My recent E24 came with a black leather (BMW embossed) holder instead - previous owner didn't know if it was original or not. As the car is highline / shadowline i'm wondering if a black leather holder is part of the pack - or has someone simply replaced the original at some point with sonething from a different car...?

@Candycj1

Do you have a picture? That sounds like the manual in my E36...

I don't know why, but one of my E36s had a black leather zippered pouch for the manuals, one had that white plastic folding thingy. One of my E24s had a plain black leather pouch, no zipper, the other had no pouch at all.
