I need to access the rear speaker and hinge bolts. How do I remove the upper carpet panel that covers them and the shock towers?
Advice and pictures would help immensely

Re: Removing the upper carpet panel in the trunk?
There is a formed carpet piece glued to each tower, also held by a plastic “U”-shaped section trim running down to the rear light units. Pull off the trim and then just peel off the carpet. The single piece of carpet is retained by a couple of plastic clips (which press into the rear vertical bulkhead) and several metal tags which are part of the bodywork and are bent over to retain the carpet which is “cardboard- backed”. Just pull it all out. One of those trim removal tools will help get the two clips out, but not essential. It can be a little difficult

Pod,
Thanks. Now I need a little warm weather to get to it.
