Orig. audio equipment

Post by tmoretta »

I have the original Blaupunkt radio, multi disc trunk mounted player and trunk aux. amp from my '88 M6. Should I waste my time attempting to sell any of these, keep them to pass on when and if I sell the vehicle or through them in the trash?

They are sold for quit some money nowadays, I would not throw it away.
I would keep them so you can make the car original again in the future.

Is it still fully working? And in good condition? Which model?

As Sharknose suggests, I reckon it could be worth quite of lot of money. If I was looking to buy a car like yours I would certainly be more attracted if it came with an original Blaupunkt system.

The radio is model KE81 with cassette. It would be a real bear to re-install these components as the wires are all cut.

I kept my original BMW cassette player, amp and speakers enough though I highly doubt they will be reinstalled.
