Flock or not to Flock

Post by 86_6series »

I finally took care of the cluster problem most of us face.

I used a flocking kit and it worked great.

I wire brushed the cluster, then sprayed
with carb cleaner. Had to thin out the paint
about 25% in the sprayer

I sprayed very liberally to almost soaking wet just short of drips starting.
then used the pumping tube to dust on the flock, again very liberally.

I think it worked out pretty good.

Someone's got to ask, if the "mini Flocker, flock it kit" just covers the dash gauges, how much is a "Mother Flocker flock it kit" to cover the whole dash?! :-"
