Seat back latches
My driver's side seat won't unlatch to fold forward enabling entrance to the back. Actually, to be accurate, one side, near the latch unhooks but the other side doesn't, near the consul doesn't. I see on OEM there is are two items called "ropes" that connect the seatback lever to the latches. Anyone have experience with this problem?

Re: Seat back latches
Sounds like you need to remove the seat backs to get at the de-latching cable.
Not sure whether it's true of all seat versions, but mine have two screws at the base of the back cover and then the cover should slide upwards (having first removed both release levers and their surrounds) - but might be very stiff o/a age and potential corrosion of the spring clips.

Thanks Phil. I've ordered the "ropes", actually cables, and they arrive tomorrow at the dealer. I'll work on it this weekend.

Re: Seat back latches
You don't say if your seats are comfort or sport.
I'd "suspect " that both will be similar in operation of the latching mechanism .
Have a look at this video as at 6.19 it shows how to remove the delicate plastic retaining clip for the release cord on the sport seat .
Once the rear cover is removed access is straighforward to the upper lever .
Good luck
