Hello all.
The stereo on my new Sixer is ok for now, but is seriously lacking in only one item. I need a line in for my MP3 player (Rio Karma in case anyone is interested). I know they sell rf modulators that broadcast over the airwaves...but I don't want my high quality OggVorbis files being distorted over the radio... And since there is no line in, I need to use the modulator. It's pretty simple, but I am a little confused on one note. I basically have to splice into the power wires for the radio. However, there are two. A red one that goes to the ignition, and a yellow that goes to the battery. Am I wrong in assuming that I need to splice into the red wire for the +12 volts? Or is it the Yellow????

Normally, the yellow provides power at all times so the stereo can retain the clock and preset stations. The red is for power when your running the car or have the ignition turned. I would suggest tapping into the red so you don't have to worry about powering the unit down by hand.
