The side-skirts are OK; not much wrong with those. The rest of it looks like it has been formed from Blu-Tack.

Looks like it might be a Erebuni Kit or maybe a copy?

If it is a copy, I wonder if the quality is any better?

For me images look like photoshop work. The section with exhaust, wheels and bodykit itselfs look like just attached to real car image. I would ask supplier to provide better images of mounted bodykit before buying something like this.

i dunno, it's pretty hideous and has enough disclaimers about how shippers won't cover the minor damage you could expect through normal shipping, but the "body shop" you hire to paint and install the thing should be able to fix it for free during install... anyway, i don't really want something i have to slather in fillers / resins before i even prime it. i was thinking about trying to cut off the bottom to try to replace just the valence with it, but after that disclaimer, doesn't seem worth it.

also, it's painfully hideous.

alright...this same manufacturer kit review convinced me:
http://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w124/ ... ation.html

ordered it today...$335 with insured shipping.

Tried to chew him down on the shipping,he didn't bite.

Paypal transaction.

Says "in stock"

C'mon tracking number \:D/

O btw,
dude says its a bumper REPLACEMENT. I was hoping for a cover. (after cutting off the bumper ends)

Not sure how I feel about losing front bumper entirely. Might have to trim the stock bumper down to nest inside.
IF the front bumper is as thick as ther rear that will be pita :D

I'd love to see pix. I live close enough (30 miles) to this company I was thinking of going over and taking a few pix to post.

I had the saem concerns about the bumper (mine is an '88 with euros).

It arrived a few days ago.

Absolutely no brackets or mounting tabs...NOTHING!!!

In all fairness the ad did reflect "professional install required."

Been working on other vehicles today and i'm whooped.
Full report and new thread to follow...

mock up

I love the way it looks in person...I must admit, that I feel I am on the way to succeeding in my vision. The tidy rear and front lines are harmonious and svelte. The pre-world ('88+) federal bumpers were not. (IMNSHO)

And, as a bonus, the bottom edge of the dam is HIGHER than the stock. Sweet since I'm lowered.

feel free to flame...

A few questions:

1. Does the lower air dam have the foglight mounting "posts" on one end- the ones with the rounded ends that enable you to adjust the foglights?

2. Does one just drill holes in the lower air dam and attach from there?

3. Is the bumper attached with just adhesive? I have an '88 with the euro bumpers and I'd like to know I can convert back if needed...

Thanks for the update!

mounting???

Post by team2win »

please address the mounting issue...

does this slip over the bumper?

how are you going to attach the fog lights?

what about the match on the side of fender with rest of car? any side pics?

Thanks for any info

Your 6er is going to look sweet with that body kit! Why look like everyone else  Heard good reviews on the MB forums on the extreme duraflex products- I'm actually ordering the MB C36 front bumper spoiler for my 95 W124 Coupe and the C43 side skirts.

The issue with most Ebay vendors is the fact they lack good quality photos of their products mounted on a variety of vehicles, which ultimately leave customers with a doubt.

Cheers,

Since no one has photos of this thing actually being installed, I decided to go for it. The parts should arrive on the 18th and I will be installing them over however long it takes. Ill take photos, and Upload them here or post links whichever I have permissions to do. These kits are way cheaper than trying to find bumpers, and It would be nice if someone in the community actually could display a finished product. I hope it turns out well
