There is no info on how to fit this late roof on the BMW maint CD.
Anyone got any ideas?
It seems MUCH more complicated to fit & adjust in comparison to the earlier sunroof.
Apparently the sunroof changed in September 86, so if you've got a car produced after that, this info may prove useful to you - assuming I can get some answers.......
I won't be fitting the roof myself, but the bodyshop guys who've already said its a pig. They reckon they'll have to pain it off the car, fit it, inevitably scratch it during fit/adjustment, then have to rub down & probably paint again on the car!
I'd like to be able to save them this hassle wherever possible.
