I would contact Fritz Bits on this one as they were involved with setting this up for the race car project before finding out that carbon wings are not allowed. http://www.fritzsbits.co.uk I believe that moulds have been made already so they can be turned around quite quickly. They are however about the same price as genuine wings, but are somewhat lighter.

Hmm...Me thinks shipping for 2 would ease the cost a little bit.

Front "wings"; on this side of the pond, would we call them "front fenders"? If so, I'd be interested in what a set for my 88 M6 race car would cost. The issue is that they would need to be a little wider than stock. Hmmmmm. CF hood and fenders....:)

Sohlman,

Can you make some calls for us and see what kind of group buy we can get? From there, maybe one of you guys or Ephriam's freind can arrange shipping?

If we get some numbers, I'll post a group buy.

I will contact my friend Brian who works with Fritz who has been racing an M6 this season although the car has been suffering from reliability issues. I will try and get some prices and costs together. Probable looking at around ?600 - ?800 for a pair, although a group buy could get the price down somewhat, but as far as i am aware the exspensive bit ie the moulds has been completed.

Mmmmm... carbon fiber. I could just have it shipped to my cousin and england and then have it as my one carry on when I see her next year... maybe?
