e24 Driver Side Window Too Much Lateral Movement...

Ah yes....fun window times with the e24.

My new to me euro has a really sloppy drivers side window with regards to lateral side to side movement. It is properly aligned and door closes correctly BUT the glass moved left to right way too much.

I have read all this window related documents....I have the door all apart as I am repairing the lock cylinder....but I don't see how to take up the slack the window "wheel" has in the track (closest to rear of car).

When I have the door open and hold the top of the window there is 8-12mm of lateral movement, and I can look at the inside the door and see the "wheel" moving side to side in the window track.

Any suggestions...all other e24's I have owned have been really "tight" compared to this window slop....and would love to minimize this slop.
