Gutter trim

Post by blackbirdxx »

Hi upon reinstalling my gutter trim after a repaint I found that the anodised friction fit strip which is so difficult to remove covering the small screws no longer fits properly. It is now too long by about 2-3mm which means it extends too far and doesn’t fit properly where it terminates on top of the front wing (fender). Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did they do? I could chop it by 2-3mm but that would be a last resort.
Any suggestions welcome.
