In my car I need to replace a part no 1 and 13 from the diagram below:

The factory workshop manual shows how they replace the panels. I believe they require welding. I don't think they are straight bolt on replacements.

The link below lists 4 workshop manuals but there seems to be a problem connecting with some of them.

Chris is correct. They are both welded onto the shell with not a bolt in sight.
They are ALWAYS rustier than you thought!!!!!!

I've seen a factory manual, but unfortunately the pictures are small.
If you have a first hand experience and photos, don't hesitate to share :)

I actually just priced those parts out and believe it or not they are still available from BMW from Germany but be prepared for the price you could buy a good used parts car for that much.....
