Need recommendation for small fender ding repair

Post by 85mvdelphinus »

I have one small ding in my LF fender and would like some suggestions for a ding doctor? I'm located in Northern California (East Bay). Thanks for your references.

I'm traveling right now (2 wks) but will do so when I get back. It's 4.5" forward from the driver's door and 1" below the pin stripe. Thus, it's a bit difficult to reach from the inside. I'm not sure if it can be "popped out" from outside?

It's small and you can only see it from an angle. I kinda bugs me since it's the only ding on the car but I see it each time I pull my other car into the garage.

Bobbo - You're right, we met at the Mtn View C&C. I don't know what I did with the recommendation though. Thanks...Don.

Jacko - The paint is all original 30 years. Always garaged and great condition.

Thanks.

Hey guys, thanks for all the tips.

Bobbo - I'll give Steve a call when we get back from Idaho.

Pod - I thought about the DIY repair kit. I think I saw something similar on Bavarian Autosport. I guess I was reluctant to take a chance.

Jacko - Hmm, I didn't know that. I'll be sure to discuss. There is no scratch or mark, just a small indentation.
