Hi all,
I am trying to find the part numbers of the rivetted panels that sit at the bottom rear of the rear wheel arches to stop stones and crud flicking up under the boot floor.
I just can't find them on any real oem pics?
Has anyone got the part numbers to hand please?
As always, thanks in advance

These were missing from my car when I got it too.
I considered trying to purchase new or used but ended up making my own from an "opened up" 25Lt black plastic drum.
I made up a template that was larger than the OE plate to give better protection from the road spray . With hindsight I should have carried the liner lower to mimic a shallow mudflap immediately behind the wheel but not protruding beyond the arch , if you follow , and probably will redo them like that to enhance the protection.
I don't seem to have a very clear photo but this will give you the idea. I attached them to the car with plastic 6mm nuts and bolts .
Not OE but they are better and cannot be seen when the car is on wheels .

I added these to my car about 10 years ago. According the parts catalogue they were not fitted until May '88...kind of a strange afterthought really.

all E24 had such parts fitted before then but for some reason this doesn't show on the database.nick88highline wrote:I added these to my car about 10 years ago. According the parts catalogue they were not fitted until May '88...kind of a strange afterthought really.

This is meant to be an 'all dates' listing;

There is however a note to the effect that the numbers above replace older numbers eg
51711839285
for the left side. So until proven otherwise I'd operate on the principle that the later pns will fit earlier cars too.
cheers
