I have a M635CSi (88 H/L) and have a holed driver's side rear light lens.

Loads of US spec lenses on eBay... no UK ones!

I know the UK part has a different part number, but does anyone know if a US lens will fit a UK car without any issues?

I've looked at plenty of pictures and reckon the lenses look identical!

Any light anyone can shed on this would be greatly appreciated.

From what I understand, the US version has the "DOT" (Department of Transportation) in the mould for the lenses and those made for the UK or Europe would not

Otherwise, it is my understanding that they all interchange with each other $\:D/$

In fact, if you can find a set from an ///M1, those will fit as well
