Just got an estimate from a local shop. $240 each, and I have to order 10 pieces at one time. Material will be fiberglass, the part will be fully-trimmed and ready to fit, but will need to be primed and painted. The spoiler will attach to the rear deck with 3M 2-sided tape, so no holes in the trunk panel. Shipping will be extra, and the only snag I can guess at there is finding appropriate packaging, but the shipping itself should be cheap. I think this is a great deal and am anxious to have one for my car, and to get this project rolling. The OEM piece, when it was last available from BMW was just over $300 + shipping, and that was several years ago.

Please let me know ASAP if you're interested. Tell your friends.

Just a quick update.

Finished painting the spoiler today, and IMO, it looks really great. I sanded the as-delivered primer with 400, then two coats of Duplicolor automotive primer (black), sanded with 400, then wet-sanded with 800 and 1000. Finally, three coats of the Duplicolor bumper and trim paint. The result is a nice satin finish, and I think you'd have to rap your knuckles on it to tell it's not the OEM rubber version. I'll let it dry for a few days before mounting it to the car.
