Out door handle rubber

Post by TBM »

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has access to the door handle rubber that goes between the body at the outer handle. Doesn't seem like it can be bought separately.

Also, I really want to buy new spray nozzles without the heating option as Iv'e got an 8/84 M635. Any other model that has the older style still available to buy that way that are the same?

check these part numbers, I believe this are still available:
left side 51211847591: right side 51211847592.

If you can't locate BMW spray nozzles look at part 61661369870. Mercedes has non heated nozzles.

The one thing that I'm scratching my head over is that my car doesn't have any wiring but, ONLY ASSUMING here, that an M635 even in '84 would come with the heated nozzles. Is that a wrong assumption?

Did a search on RealOEM, your 84 calls for heated nozzles. I assumed you had discarded the electrical wires and wanted to replace the heated nozzles with non heated. Maybe the PO discarded the wires based on location. You can always added the electric wiring for the nozzles. Do you have a intensive washer reservoir?

I do have intensive wash. Thats why I think a PO removed the heated nozzle loom. In that case I need to look for one from a wrecked early car. Anyone????

Dealer sold me individual door handle rubber gasket here. It is an absolute pig to fit though.
