Sunroof Installation?

Post by 2011z4 »

Does anyone have a photo process of how to reinstall a sunroof? I have got the splines and roof in, but cannot slide it back in the roof to get it to sit so I can install the motor and the rest of the guide covers. I know installing is 10x harder than removing, but I didn't think it would be this bad! Thanks for the help in advance!

Thanks Dean but I have that full factory manual and tried using it. It leaves out some detail that maybe someone who has done it before can share.

Thanks again as alway!

Sorry, that's a job I've never done, and I'm happy to keep it that way. Maybe there's something on YouTube? Worth a try.

Put the motor back. Loosen the nut and manually crank the sunroof back.
