keys

Post by Mark Shutt »

I need a key cut as only have one, would BMW dealers be ridiculous price? seen them on eBay fairly cheap but not original and would take ages for delivery, what's my best option? just trying to sort all the niggly little jobs on my car!

I had a key for my 81 cut by a locksmith for $5 I supplied the blank which I bought on Ebay, 2/$15, shipped from Thailand. They are knock offs, but an exact match to my original.

Hi,

got a nos key and had a local auto lock smith cut it to my original. He also rebuilt one of the door locks to suit original key. Should be able to google a local one to you.

thanks, I'm also rebuilding the torch in my main key and have ordered some 3v battery to suit, might have to fit an LED instead of the blown bulb as they are silly expensive for what they are!! has anybody else rebuilt theirs?
