I got a set of window rubbers from Ric in AU for my car and am about to fit them.
I had a brief look at the trims this evening to determine how they are retained on to the door and 1/4 panel but could only see one retaining screw at the very front of the side glass trim.
Anybody tell me how these are removed before I go a searching .....
Thanks
Don

Pull up on them. They are just held on by very tight fitting clips that fit into the trim strip and clip over the body

The drivers trim is retained by two screws ,one at the forward end and one at the rear end of the door, plus spring clips.
I'm going to make a wooden buck to hold the trim which should make it easier to facilitate this task and prevent damage to the external face.
I'll post some photos when I do it.
The spring clips will have to be removed to allow the trim pressing to be teased apart to allow the rubber to be removed.
I found a set of trims for the right hand side that I bought as spares when I got the car which will allow me to "practice " the job.I'm going to make a wooden buck to hold the trim which should make it easier to facilitate this task and prevent damage to the external face.
I'll post some photos when I do it.
