Door wiring

Hi everyone. As part of my COVID-19 therapy, I’m detailing my RHD Euro 635 manual.

I pulled the drivers door trim off today to repair the broken tab on the map pocket mount and grease the window mechanism. Clearly it’s been off before. All functions work, but can anyone tell what the spare wiring was for?
