Blank ignition key part number?

Post by wattsmonkey »

How I laughed: son returned from attempt to lock back door of house asserting "the door won't close".

Door wouldn't close due to ignition key from beemer having been slammed repeatedly into doorframe, bending it 90 degrees and cracking it right through.

Spare key is crappy generic non-bmw key.

Have looked on realoem for blank key to have cut, preferably one with the little light to match the broken one, but no joy.

Hopefully someone else might have gone down the same route.

Cheers,

Rob

Thanks, I'm hoping I can salvage the illuminated bit, having looked at the real oem page.
