Early E12 based armrest needed (Aus)

Post by Mark E »

Hi folks...

I am in need of the top section of the early version (E12 based) right side front arm rest.

This is the piece that is secured to the pull handle and screws to the door panel and is covered by that little chrome cover plate.

I tried to cut & paste the exploded diagram from Mobile Tradition without success, but the part number is: 5141 1875 424.

I will certainly consider the whole arm rest in 'Gobibeige' if possible.

Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks Ron... that's certainly the one in the diagram.

But once I opened that page, there didn't seem anywhere else to go to purchase the part.

Am I missing something?

Yes, you missed. All that is doing is showing you the approx price and the part is still dealer available. So purchase from your friendly local dealer of choice.

Ah - now I've got it!

In fact I'd already checked with my 'friendly' local BMW dealer that is was available.

I was trying to avoid the 3 to 4 week plus wait for the part ex Germany and the over inflated price they want to charge me!

cheers...
