Probably not quite for the purists on here but I am running 17"x 8J BBS RS 090 split rim wheels front and back on my '88 635CSi.
The stance on the front is OK but I find the rear track a little narrow, thinking of fitting spacers and longer wheel bolts to the rear, possibly 10/15mm per side.
Does anyone have any comment on this and does anyone have any spacers that they would like to sell ?
Also what springs would I need to lower the car by about 1" (25mm) or 1.5" (40mm) but I don't want to compromise the ride quality. Any recommendations for British roads. Again has anyone got any for sale ?

Best price for spacers
Bob,
Try this company from Texas, they sell a 10 mm spacer with a hubcentric lip and longer lug bolts for $ 93.00 for a pair, includes shipping in USA. The max thickness they sell is 18 mm. It also comes with a hold down screw into the hub
