Curious about trunk partitions.

Post by fbobberts »

I want a partition like this part number, 51471900261

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part?id ... 1471900261

But oddly enough my cars realoem listing disagrees with me, it recommends the 882. I've looked here and there was one thread of a guy who was working on his trunk...can you use either one, just in case it is easier to get that second recommended part? Realoem is not encouraging on that front. I could try to refurbish mine but a new one would be better.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I don't know the answer to your question because (if the picture is correct) I've only seen the -261 part used.

Also, you don't say what model or year you have. You could put that in your signature if you wanted to...

cheers
