M30B35 from a highline

Post by Microang »

Hi guys,

I'm looking for an M30B35 out of a highline, complete with ECU, loom, etc to swap into my 6 and use the later motronic. Also my head has started going bad so it would be a good time for it.

I'm based in London, UK. Let me know what you have.

Thanks.

Tim has this available at the moment:

Not from a 6 but should be what you are looking for.

Unfortunately that engine has the wrong mounts for the chassis, and I'd rather have a drop in. It's not massively urgent, apparently it needs to be either early E32 or E24 highline.

Koala Motorsport make an engine mount kit for this, see link below. You need to purchase both left and right side mounts.

Dave,

I have a m30b35 from a very low k 1988 e34 here in Sydney.

Loom etc too.

PM me if it might be of use.

Cheers,

Toby

A minor point, I'm sure you're aware of, that if you do go for a B35 from an E32/E34, you'll need to change the oil filter housing to the downwards pointing one (ie swap it from your old E24 B35) otherwise the engine won't fit in the bay. The upwards facing housing will foul on the ABS unit, unless you modify or move it.
Good luck
