Realoem just gives you the part number. You have to go through BMW Parts to get it. I've tried in the past and BMW parts dept is not always able to order Euro only parts.

I was hoping for someone in US with lenses.

Try Maximillian:

$73 each, which doesn't seem too bad. I input the VIN for my car, so these are the Euro lenses. BTW, Where are you in FL?

Thanks!

I'm in Lighthouse Point, just South of Boca Raton.

Crap, the housing is different, so I need the housing and the lense. At $220 each, I'll need to look for used...

I'm pretty sure the lenses are interchangeable, even though the reflector itself is a different part number. Maybe someone else can confirm? The Euro cars only had a signal light in that housing (with a "city" light in the low beam hadlamp), while the US cars had a signal and parking light in that housing. The "elephant ear" US lenses were produced to meet some ridiculous standard for visibility from different angles.

The US housing has to be modified to accept a Euro lens. There is a "flange" on the US market housing that interferes with the seating of the flatter Euro lens. Although not difficult, altering the US housing isn't the idea solution. Best bet is to find the Euro housing, too.

Bastards. Probably noting a nice, new Dremel cut-off wheel couldn't fix. Those Euro housings are $$$, and likely not easy to find used.

I put a set of 88-89 lenses on my elephant ear housings. They are close to the euro lenses , just not as smooth a curve. There is a chromed plastic insert held into the euro/universal housing by two ( I think ) screws. You do have to completely remove the housing to get at the back of it. The extra chrome insert also has an extra light that is wired into the main housing that has to be unplugged. After you remove the chrome insert you'll have to paint the inside of the housing as mine was just left as black plastic. Its really very simple. I'm sorry I thought I had pics but can't find anything now. I've seen posts of people dremeling etc but its not that complicated. I thank Ralph for help on this one. I'll post pics if I find them

This is the extra NA reflector after removal. Its three screws. I dont have the car here right now, but its worth checking to see. maybe you can unscrew those philips with out removing the whole housing. IDK Also its probably worth plugging those holes with some silicone to keep the crap out of the bulb area.
