WTB: Driver's Upper Door Hinge

Anybody have a good one with pin?

Mine sheared off on my 633 and the door doesn't sit properly anymore.

New ones are pretty cheap if you can still get them. I bought one a few years ago.

Thanks Bert. Any tips or tricks to getting the phillips screws out of the door side of the hinge? They always seem stuck in place and I don't want to strip them with power tools...

A hand impact tool. The ones that you hit with a hammer and it turns the screw as it is "cammed" Not expensive. Auto supply store, Harbor Freight etc. So, by hitting the end of the tool, you are accomplishing 2 things. One, you are driving the tip into the screw and the second is that you are turning the screw in the direction you set the tool to go in. By hammering it in, you are lessening the chance of stripping the head . Mine came out using a large, #1 tip, Phillips screw driver. Either way you will get it out.

I am parting two 88 635csi and I have doors with the hinges still attached from an 81 euro 635csi. If the hinges are the same on the e12 based 6s I have one ready. The others are still on the cars.

I was able to get my hands on one just this past weekend. I still need a tool to take the hinge off but I now have the part I need.
