WTB: Rear view mirrors for parts

Post by dwcains »

GHi Group:

I'm looking for at least a few, or maybe several, rear view mirrors. Condition of the glass isn't important, but the mounting arm and mirror pivot need to be in good condition. I'm using the BMW mount to convert modern self-dimming mirrors to mount in our cars. Some will have map lights, compass display, and/or Homelink garage door opener. I built one for my car and it's gotten a lot of interest, although I'm not the first to do this. A friend wants one, so I thought I'd make a few at a once. Please let me know if you've got an old mirror to sell me.

Thanks, but since you mentioned L&R I think you may have side view mirrors. I need rear view mirrors, i.e. The one inside the car.

Thanks, but can you send me a few pics? I need mirrors where the mounting arm anspivot ball need to be in good condition. For example, the mirror mount needs to have the spring and points, and the pivot ball needs to be tight. The mirror body and glass condition are unimportant.
