WTB: Porsche 809 MAF

Post by GazM3 »

Hey there.

Im looking to purchase a Porsche 809 MAF to complete my E34 540i/6 supercharged project.
I have run out of maf capacity at around 5800rpm with a 0.8v offset (computer sees 4.2v when maf reaches 5v). I don't want to offset the current maf (806) any more as it would be seeing about 5.8-5.9v with the offset.

Full maf number is 0 280 217 809.
Im in Melbourne's Australia so international shipping would be needed. Only genuine Bosch please.

Even if you have some leads where I would buy one especially from vendors from the UK or the EU as delivery from the USA is very expensive

You can check with Turner Motorsport. They are in the USA and can be a last resort for you.

Here is the link to their page on the 809 MAF.

Good luck.

Cheers.

1/2 the battle with vendors is they don't keep stock. I've managed to get an 803 maf, now on the way to here from USA. Will see how things go with it. Others who have done this state this maf works good on a supercharged 540i e36 without any maf correction.

I'll soon find out
