Looking for E24 Race Car or Good Base to start

Post by VintageRacer » Sat Jun 24, 2017 5:42 pm

Looking to build an 84 ETCC or DPM replica so I'm looking for a solid E24 car with a manual transmission. I would love to find an already prepared racer or a project someone started. I'm in Texas but I'll travel to grab the right car.

My father recently finished his 1984 TWR Jaguar XJS and I'd like to run along side in SVRA next year!

Thanks
Andy

I have a friend, who may visit here, with an E24 euro race car. He made some noise a while back about selling it. I'll pass this on to him.

And a sweet car it is. If only I had room and time.

Thanks to Ross for pointing me to the car. All is lined up to pick it up next month.

If you are into vintage racing the car will be run (if all goes as planned) next year at Gingerman, Road America, and COTA against my father's 1984 Jaguar TWR XJS replica.

A race car previously owned by me and BJ Meyer (of Clownshoe Motorsports) may be for sale by current owner, I will check on sale status. It's an '84 Euro converted to run a B35. Located in STL, MO.

Meets NASA tech specs, was run in both NASA and Chumpcar events
Full roll cage, very nice (by Izzy's Custom Cages)

Andy, I am located in Waco, TX currently and am planning to list my 1987 635csi for sale this week. It is an automatic and not prepped for race currently, but is pretty solid with some recent maintenance. If your deal falls through, send me a PM.
