I have one that is not totally rust free, but has been repaired by a body shop. I didn't use it because I found one from the states. There are, I believe 2 different types - pre and post 1986.

Thank you but my car is a 1989 car so it wont fit if the above is correct of there being two types.

I have one....I ran into a similar problem during my respray and ended up with an extra later sunroof. I'll pull it out of the attic (hopefully this weekend) and shoot you some pics.

Hi everyone,

I am not trying to hijack this thread, but I am also looking for the same thing. I need a post 9/86 sunroof for my project car. If there is another one available please let me know. My car goes into paint on the 7th of March so I would like to get it before then.

Thanks,
Rob

I have 2 extras. I do not know what year they are for. I do know they fit my 85.

Any chance you could send me pictures of the underside, specifically the supporting brackets and the mounting tabs on the sides?

I have one from an '87. They changed the mounting system on the later cars. It's rust-free, was originally black, has been painted Diamantschwarz and wet-sanded but never compounded because it didn't fit the '85 M635 I got it for. Might be expensive to ship though, but it's guaranteed rust-free.
