WTB Exhaust Manifold for M30B35 1988 635csi

Post by WISE9UY »

Hi All,

I thought to ask here on the forum first before going to eBay... I need a pair of exhaust manifolds. Either the late style with out the threads snapped OR an earlier type with perfect studs. My studs snapped off upon removal and I just can't be bothered investing the time to extract them if I can get a decent set.

As a price guide, on Ebay they range between $55-$99 for a pair.

PM me if you have ones you wish to get rid of. If they are not in very good or better condition, don't worry about it... just to save everyone's time :)

Thanks for your consideration.

I have a set from M30B34 US that i think are good... I'd have to dig them out and see if the studs are still there or not.

Not sure what you mean by very good condition as they are over 30 years old by now. But this set sat on an engine on an stand for the last 10 years... Shipping would probably be the most expense.

Thank-you for the response. I did secure a set during last week but if that falls through I will certainly be in touch.

What I meant by very good condition was that it is not heavily rusted or have stripped header studs. Namely, I want a set that I can just install because if I wanted to, I could spend the time dealing with the snapped header studs on mine.

I will know through this week about the ones I think will be good for me. It is the same for most people that they are stashed in a bunch of parts :)

Maybe something like this might be a better option seeing as you have them out already?

Added benefit of being stainless and therefore won't rust.

Although will probably require some fabrication, it's cheaper than most.
