Research Five-O-Motorsport - they are good to deal with.

I installed what they commonly call the "Mustang 19lb Injectors", for exactly the same reasoning you are asking. These have a 4-hole disc nozzle for better fuel atomisation and flow slightly more fuel. If running the standard AFM this will need slight adjustment to compensate, but otherwise with no other changes, noticeable improvement.

I think they are these: https://www.fiveomotorsport.com/bosch-y ... l-injector, as it is a while ago and they have changed the part no's, but look and sound the same.

Check the impedance of your injectors first (high or low), as others here will tell you. I was ignorant of this but had no issues.

You will be able to run the newer "mustang" injectors with no issues.

Re the impedance, search "injector impedance" on here. I found this viewtopic.php?f=2&t=21528&p=152504&hili ... ce#p152504

Re the AFM adjustment, take the car to a service shop familiar with older BMW's, with an exhaust gas analyser.
