UK M635 wanted ( or Euro car based in U.K.)

Post by gulf917 »

Hi

I’ve been looking for an M635 (non motorsport edition) for some while now but either find that prices at independent dealers have skyrocketed for often very average examples or cars offered at auctions are of very poor quality. If you are looking to sell a well maintained car to a fellow enthusiast, then please get in touch . Price all depend on condition and evidence of maintenance. Mileage not important.

First I would like to view the car and service history and then I would need to have it inspected professionally ( at my expense but there will be travel involved). If all this sounds like too much hassle, then never mind.

Best

I don't really believe that ,on your first post ,you are as unfriendly as you sound John and put it down to your unfortunate previous encounters and zest to find that "special" car .
You'll find that there is a wealth of knowledge ,experience ,market awareness and bonhomie on the site that could assist you in your search .
I don't think your demands are excessive ,it's wise to be prudent , but maybe a seller of that cherished and loved car you seek would respond better to a softer approach .......

Good luck .

Dear Don, I'm far more friendly in person! Sorry, if the message came across that way. I've been following the forum for the last few years and understand from the posts that these cars need a great deal of ongoing care and attention to keep them in good condition, hence buying from a forum member would be ideal.

It didn't, don't worry.

Do you have a budget in mind? It may help folks to help you find something. This forum always has a keen eye out for any 6 that goes up for sale in the UK, especially M cars.

I look forward to seeing your project/build threads as you enjoy telling everyone what you're doing .

It's been two and a half years since you introduced them to us so they must have progressed enough to show us what you've done .
Maybe John would hold off and buy one of these two that you are restoring .

That's my personal build thread, for my personal cars.

Is there any point at which you stop trolling, or do you just perpetually insist on being rude to people without justification? You would really put people off using this forum, and enjoying these cars, and i'm not talking about just me, I'm talking about the way you came at the OP in this thread, you know, the one you've totally de-railed to pursue some silly agenda you have...

I've read my posts on this thread again and I don't see them as being rude to John or yourself ,there was no malice or intent and I explained that to John in a PM.
As for yourself , well my son , I merely enquired how the two M6's that you strongly insisted you were going to restore on this very site in 2015 were progressing .viewtopic.php?f=8&t=26337&p=188302&hilit=sskoda#p188302
Project threads are one of the most enjoyed threads in this parish and it was an invite to you to show us the progress that you openly confessed to.
They are listed in your current projects at the foot of every post you make on this site , check it out .......
By implication it would be safe to believe that the myriad of projects ( nineteen I think ) that are on that list are your personel projects but it seems that that is not the case ,as none are mentioned on your personal ( but very public ) thread that I attached the link to , therefore opening up the possibly of them being retail cars .
I simply mentioned that if they were approaching completion then perhaps John may have been a buyer .
Look , you're clearly a very sensitive creature so I'll take that into account in the future and in the meantime absolve you for calling me a troll.

Admin and John , My apologies for this detour away from the original thread subject matter , I will respond no more these deviations .

I have a euro 6 for sale in the US. Is shipping too horrible to send it across?

Hi David

Thanks very much for your message but as I would have to see the car and inspect it first I don’t see how that realistically would work.
