Help Me Finish my project. Parts List

Post by kylefav390 »

So off the top of my head i'm looking for a few odd bits to get my project closer to its final state. Car is an 88 Auto, swapping to manual.

OEM Clutch Master in working condition.
Shifter linkages that will work for a g260/5 into a late e24
Possibly looking for a G260/6 with associated drive shaft if anyone somewhat local to Boston has one for a reasonable price.
Working Gauge Cluster, have had mine rebuilt a few times and still failed after a short period, plus got some water in it due to my leaky garage roof.
Clutch master to slave cylinder hydraulic lines

Thats all I can think of now. I also have parts I can trade. Including a world bumper set, late model gas tank, front and rear suspension. Front Calipers etc... let me know if you need any parts I may just have them. Thanks guys!

Ballpark on price? I'm not sure what shipping might be but if its not too bad I could go for it. If not i'll just hold out for something local.

What Brickwhite said, install new, as they are such a bitch to install, ooh and remove the drivers seat, first.
I fractured a rib laying on the front edge of the drivers seat.

Haha fair enough. I was planning on getting a new one, but was hoping to save a few $ by buying used. It seems like it would be a hassle, and is the main reason why i'm waiting to put the engine back in. Luckily my drivers seat has been removed for awhile now, so I should have ample space to get the job done.

I have shipped quite a few trannies cross country via UPS. I put them in a plastic container from home depot with some foam board insulation around them. Material cost about $15. Shipping weight is about 90#s and cost is between $90 and less than a $100
