I am planning on eventually installing Recaros, using 533 manual, tilting, seat brackets. So I wont need the seat switches.
I see earlier cars have a cleaner console around the parking brake. Would one from a 533 work? Maybe these are more common in cars outside the U.S.

My car is pearl beige. I would not want to paint this part.

533 center console is a little different. Not sure if it will work or not. The e24 manual seat center console has a peg (which likes to break) that holds it to the shift console where I believe the e28 manual center console is wider and has a lip that matches the shift console.

I have a brown one, and you can see the front is a little different.
